The Confederation of African Football( CAF) has signed a 5-year partnership with the Saudi Arabia football federation.
Signing the deal, the president of CAF confirmed that the deal is signed to promote football in the continent and also contribute to the development of football in the Asian Country.
“The signed MoU will focus on technical and football development initiatives at the club and national team level. It will also focus on grassroots football, women’s football, talent scouting, competitions, friendlies and business opportunities,” reads the statement from the African football governing body.
“ CAF is happy to work with the Saudi Football Federation to develop and grow football in Africa and around the world. There are also specific areas for mutually beneficial partnerships that we are discussing and announcements will be made in due course,” said CAF President Patrice Motsepe.
