Lagos Nigeria has been announced as the host of the WAFU B CAF women’s champions league qualifier for 2023.
The last edition was held in Abidjan, Ivory Coast and it is the turn of Lagos to welcome the champion clubs of the women’s championships of the 7 member countries of the West Zone B.
The West Zone B delegation led by Executive Director Boureima Balima arrived in Lagos for inspection and he was accompanied by WAFU B competition director Serge Bailly and Patricia Heremien.
This tournament brings together the champions of the Women’s Leagues of the seven member countries of West Zone B, they are Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Niger, Nigeria and Togo.
This year Qualifying Tournament of the CAF Women’s Champions League. The tournament is scheduled for August.
