After their dramatic qualification for the quarter-final of the CAF Confederation Cup, Nigeria’s representative Rivers United will know their opponent this week.
The Nigerian side came from a goal down to beat Dream FC of Ghana 2-1 at the Goodswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
The victory means that the Pride of Rivers finished second behind the Ghanaian team as the Tunisian giant Club Africain crashed out after their 1-1 draw against APC Lobito of Angola.
According to the update from the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, the draw is slated to be held this Wednesday at the home of football in Egypt.
The Nigerian side will be aiming to do better than last season as they lost out to Yanga SC of Tanzania at this stage .
