Bayelsa Queens moved to the second spot in group B after returning to winning ways against TP Mazembe ladies in their second group match.
The Nigeria side was placed in third after losing the opening game to Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa in the opening game.
The WAFU B champions bounced back strongly on Thursday evening and defeated Mazembe 2-0 with both goals coming in the first half.
It was Joseph Ogoja that netted the opening goal from the spot in the 4th minute before Chinyere Igboamalu sealed the game with the second goal in the 24th minute.
Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns remained on top of the table and Bayelsa Queens placed while TP Mazembe and Wadi Degla are in 3rd and 4th position respectively.
The group final matches are slated for Sunday with Sundown facing TP Mazembe and Bayelsa Queens meeting Wadi Degla.
