African soccer governing will later this week commence the inspection of the 3 countries that will co-host the 2024 Championship of African Nations ( CHAN).
Algeria hosted the last edition and CAF decided that the trio of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda would stage the competition as a test run for the 2027 African Cup of Nations.
The inspection will start in Uganda on March 6 and 7 and will continue in Kenya and Tanzania including Zanzibar Island.
The final decision of the CAF will be made based on the committee’s report.
it is still completely unclear regarding the dates, and even the playoffs of the tournament. While many wonder whether the tournament will be able to take place in 2024 as planned, the sails should gradually fall in the coming weeks or even months.
