After being substituted at halftime, Cristiano Ronaldo left the stadium before the end of Manchester United’s 1-1 draw with Rayo Vallecano.
Ronaldo, 37, made his return against Rayo Vallecano after missing United’s tours of Thailand and Australia due to a family matter.
He began the game before being replaced after 45 minutes. He was seen leaving Old Trafford before the final whistle, with United sources later refusing to say whether his early departure was sanctioned by manager Erik ten Hag.
Ronaldo wants to leave the club this summer to pursue regular Champions League football elsewhere.
