Nigeria international Tom Dele-Bashiru is thrilled to make his first start for Watford FC this season.
The former Flying Eagles midfielder was in the starting line-up on Sunday at the Vicarage Road in Watford’s goalless draw against Hull City.
After the game, the former Manchester City playmaker expressed his excitement about the game.
“It was good [to play alongside Choudhury and João Pedro]. I train with these guys all the time so I understand how they play.
With Hamza, you have more of a leeway to go forward, but with João Pedro, I need to be more defensively engaged. It was good to play with both of them.
“In the second half, it was good but towards the end, I started tiring, which is normal, but it was really good to get my first start”, he said
