The Delta State Government has sacked the management of Warri Wolves Football Club led by Comrade Moses Etu with immediate effect.
A statement issued by the chairman of the Delta State Sports Commission, Chief Tonobok Okowa on Monday September 19 2022, also announced the appointment of Mr. Neville Ambekederemo as new Chairman of the Club .
The State Sports Commission Chairman thanked Comrade Etu and his management for their contributions over the last years and wished them success in their future aspirations.
Comrade Moses Etu has been the Chairman of Warri Wolves on two occasions ,and was in charge when the team gained promotion to the NPFL two years ago in 2020 .
In the last NNL campaign , Warri Wolves finished behind Group B2 winners Bayelsa United.
