Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi scored a goal, but it counted for nothing as Nottingham Forest’s poor form in the season continues against Fulham.
Three quick goals from Fulham inflicted another defeat on the newly promoted Nottingham Forest in the premier league match played on Friday.
It was Nigeria’s international Awoniyi that opened the scoring for Forest in the 11th minute at the City ground and put the host in control throughout the first half.
Fulham came back strongly in the second half and scored 3 quick goals through Kete 54′, Paulinha 57′ and Reed 60 minutes.
Awoniyi was subbed off for O’Brien in the 71st minute who scored the second goal for Forest almost immediately after he entered.
Another Nigeria International Emmanuel Dennis was introduced into the game in the 89th minute as Forest suffered another 2-3 defeat.
