African soccer governing has announced the team of the group stage for the ongoing U20 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Tournament favourite Young Teranga Lions of Senegal dominated the team with 4 players, Uganda and Congo has 2 players each with Nigeria, Gambia and Benin having one player each.
Flying Eagles defender Solomon Agbalaka was the only players from Nigeria that made the team.
The lanky defender has proved his mettle in the tournament, winning 2 man of the match and scoring Nigeria’s only goal against Egypt.
He’s expected to continue his fine form when they face Uganda in the quarter-final of the competition.
