It was all joy for the former Nigeria’s Flying Eagles winger Nnamdi Oforborh after he survived heart heart-related problem and returned to football.
The skillful attacker was released by the Scottish Premier League giant Glasgow Rangers about 3 years ago after it was detected that he had a heart issue.
Oforborh returned to professional football last weekend for Swindon FC after a successful treatment and medication.
“1,112 days later I prayed three straight years for this. I worked so hard to get back here.
“I don’t have the words to describe the rollercoaster of a journey I’ve been on. It’s been surreal. There is no testimony without a test. I never would’ve made
it without Jesus Christ. All glory to the highest.
“Thank you to family, friends, doctors, and all those working at Swindon Town. I will never forget the support and love I’ve received during this tough time. As for all those who said this day would never arrive, those who could’ve helped and didn’t. I told you my God never fails”, he said.
