The NNL super 4 host state, Bayelsa State has composed six Local Organizing Committees to oversee the smooth execution of the Nigeria National league four-team tournament that will produce the overall NNL champion of the 2021/2022 season.
The six committees includes Stadium/Facility with four members, to be chaired by the Director of the State Sports Council, Sir Braveman Wodi.
Entertainment Committee with Mrs Grace Alagoa, Acting Permanent Secretary Bayelsa State Ministry of Sports as chairperson.
Alambo Datonye, Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Bayelsa State chapter chairman heads the Media Committee and will be assisted by Amar Ignis, the NNL Director of Media and Communications.
Medical Committee is led by Mr Fubara Owonaro, Ebiki Timitimi, Chairman of Bayelsa United heads the Accommodation Committee while Barrister Poubeni Ogun, Chairman of the State Football Association is in charge of the Technical Committee.
The Committees are to work hand in hand with the NNL management team led by Emmanuel Adesanya and report to the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Honourable Daniel Igali.
The play-off will feature the four winners in the two conferences (North and South) of four abridged divisions that will take place at the Samson Siasia Stadium in the state’s capital, Yenagoa.
Host teams Bayelsa United, Bendel Insurance of Benin, El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri and Doma United will tango for the prestige NNL title, which begins on Wednesday, November 16.
