Ex-Eagles striker Odion Ighalo lived up to expectations on Thursday evening as he scored a hat trick in Al Wehdah’s 4-2 win over Dama FC.
Since he arrived in the Saudi Pro League, Ighalo has become a household name winning the top scorer award with Al Shabab FC and Al Hilal SC.
He joined Al Wehdah this summer and he was able to underline his presence in the team.
Ighalo opened the scoring in the 17th minute before Cessay scored the leveler in the 36th minute.
Ighalo restored Al Wehdah’s lead in the 46th minute from the spot before completing his hat trick in the 52nd minute while Goodwin made it 4-1 to the host.
Sultan Faqiti scored the second goal for Dama as the game ended 4-2.
Ighalo has now scored 4 goals this season.
