Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho made all the headlines again as he led Leicester City to a 2-4 win over Aston Villa.
The Foxes reached the last 8 of the Emirate Cup last weekend with the Nigeria international scoring the only goal that qualified the team.
It was Ole Watkins that gave Aston Villa the lead in the 9th minute but James Maddison equalised with an assist from Iheanacho.
The host retook the lead through an own from Leicester defender Soutar before Iheanacho restored parity in the 41st minute.
Former Manchester City attacker made another assist in the 45th minute as Brazilian winger Tete put Leicester City ahead.
David Praet put the game beyond Villa in the 79th minute with the 4th goal after Iheanacho has been replaced in the 67th minute.
