Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy has urged Kelechi Iheanacho to consider a move away from Leicester City.
Things have not been favourable for the Nigerian star at the King Power Stadium as he has struggled to get regular playing time under manager Brendan Rodgers.
The Nigeria international is behind Patson Daka and Jamie Vardy in the pecking order at the club.
The 26-year-old has made just one start for the Foxes this season, with another 12 appearances coming from the bench. Little wonder that the 26-year-old has managed only one goal and an assist for the Foxes.
He has scored 74 career goals and made 41 assists in 260 games in all competitions since arriving in England in 2014, suggesting that Iheanacho knows his way in and around the opposition’s danger area.
Murphy said Iheanacho would do well for a club like Everton.
I think he’s got to play more,” Murphy told talkSPORT, as reported by HITC.
“I like Iheanacho. Iheanacho gets goals. I know he’s a bit unorthodox in his plays, but he gets goals.
“He’d do for Everton, Iheanacho. You leave him up there, get the ball to him, and he’ll get you goals.
