Newly invited Luton Town FC defender Gabriel Osho will not make his debut for the Super Eagles in the upcoming doubleheader International friendly against Ghana and Mali.
Osho caught the attention of the Super Eagles handler with a distinctive performance for the newly promoted side in the Premier League.
He was not considered for the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast but was among the players invited for the upcoming friendly games.
He subbed off in the last weekend’s game against Crystal Palace due to injury and missed the midweek against Bournemouth.
The team manager Rob Edward later confirmed that Osho will be out of action for sometime.
“He’s still in pain today, so not going to be good for tomorrow”, he said.
Super Eagles will face Ghana and Mali in Marrakech, Morocco.
