Despite securing a win against Syli Nationale of Guinea, the coach of the Desert Foxes of Algeria Djamel Belmadi, has said they will play better against Nigeria.
The 87th-minute goal from Islam Slimane secured the game for the former African champions in a keenly contested affair.
During post-match reactions, Belmadi said the players would be better in their game against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
” The next match, there will be more links in our game because there will be players who are used to being here.
There are a lot of points. Nigeria is another game, we will try to get the whole team to play”, he said.
The game against Super Eagles is slated for Oran on Tuesday.
