KAA Gent striker Gift Orban has made it clear that his job is to score goals.
Orban who scored a double brace on Saturday against Zulte Warengem in the Jupiler league netted another hat trick in the Conference League on Wednesday, against Istanbul Baseksehir.
He expressed his happiness by scoring his first hat trick in Europe and has shifted his attention from the game.
”I will get a lot of messages, but I will not answer them.
Am I popular? Don’t know. I just keep working hard. You can say it was a very nice evening.
It’s the first time I’ve scored three goals in Europe, but I’m just a striker.
It’s my job to score. I immediately shift the focus to the match against Eupen”, he said.
