The Los Angeles Lakers record their win in the preseason over arch-rivals Golden State Warriors.
The Laker’s win ended a three-game losing streak in the preseason, giving the Warriors their first loss. The Lakers improved to 1-3 in the NBA Preseason, while the Warriors fell to 2-1.
The Lakers defeat the Warriors 124-121. Anthony Davis had a game-high 28 points, along with three rebounds and three assists, while Kendrick Nunn added 21 points and seven assists for the Lakers in the victory.
Jordan Poole tallied 25 points and six assists for the Warriors in a losing effort. Last season’s Finals MVP, Stephen Curry, made a comeback to the team. He dropped 24 points, four rebounds and four assists.
The Lakers were missing the likes of LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and Dennis Shroder but still gave a performance befitting the Former Champions.
Reigning Champions, Golden State Warriors were also without Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala.
