Nigerian midfielder Precious Emuobor has finalised her switch to the Turkish side Adana Demirspor from rivals Konak Belediyesi on a one-year deal.
The former Bobruichanka player joined Adana Demirspor from Konak Belediyesi on a year deal. At Belarusian Vysshaya Liga Women’s side, Bobruichanka, Precious scored nine goals in 21 league games.
A star performance at Bobruichanka attracted lots of interest from Turkish sides, including Konak Belediyesi, which she eventually joined in February 2022 and continued her rich streak of goalscoring for the team in Turkey.
“I am happy to join Adana Demirspor and begin another path in my career. My stay at Konak Belediyesi was short and memorable,” Emuobor said in an interview after signing for her new club in Turkey.
“I want to have good memories with my new team and help them achieve great things. My goal is to help the team achieve its goals for next season with assists and goals.
“The team wants to do better than last season’s performance, and I will contribute my quota towards achieving that success.”
Adana Demirspor was promoted to the Women’s First League following the 2008/2009 season in the Women’s Second League. In the 2010/2011 season, they placed third, their best achievement so far and went on to finish the 2015/2016 season ranking in 7th place.
They were relegated to the second division league after losing the play-out matches in the 2016/2017 season but featured in the 2021/2022 season of the Dinamik Menkul Değerler A.Ş. sponsored Women’s Super League.
