The 2023/24 NNL Season has been scheduled to kick off on October 28th across the country.
This decision was made at the Annual General Assembly of the NNL board led by veteran journalist George Aluo on Friday in Jos, Plateau State.
A total of 40 teams have been divided into 4 different groups in the Northern and Southern Conference.
21 teams will compete in the Southern Conference while 19 teams are set to lock horns in the Northern Conference
The top two teams from each conference will compete for the NPFL tickets in a Super 8 tournament while the bottom three clubs from each conference will be relegated.
In a new development, there will be prize money of N5million for the League champions this season from the league organizers while all the 8 clubs in the Super 8 will also receive grants.
The AGA had in attendance the board members of the NNL, top NFF executives, and all the representatives of the 40 participating teams
