Nigeria Professional Football League side Nasarawa United FC, on Friday, 14th October 2022, revealed six new signings as the Club readies for the 2022/23 Nigeria Professional Football League Season.
The unveiling event occurred at the Club’s house in Lafia
The list includes three new players, including two goalkeepers, while one is a former player of the Lafia-based side who pitched a tent elsewhere last campaign.
The new signings are Sulaiman Jamilu, an attacker from Niger Tornadoes FC of Minna; Central defender Benjamin Fredrick from ABS FC of Ilorin; Right Full-back Victor Dennis from Plateau United FC; Kwara State while Goalkeepers Yinka David and Jerry Isaac, both joined from Niger Tornadoes FC of Minna and Mountain of Fire and Miracles Centre Football Club, MFM FC, of Lagos, respectively.
Homeboy and attacker Anas Yusuf returned to the Solid Miners’ squad following a spell with Wikki Tourists FC of Bauchi last term.
The squad numbers of the new signings will be confirmed at a later date.
Nassarawa United will still sign a few more players in the coming days to solidify their squad be the new season starts.
The team have lined up some graded Preseason games to blend the new acquisitions with existing players to keep them in fine form ahead of the new League Season.
