After leading his team to a valuable away draw against Rangers, Katsina United coach Bashir Saduki has praised the players for the decent performance.
Katsina United unexpectedly held the Flying Antelope to a goalless draw in the match day 9 of the Nigeria Premier League played on Sunday.
Despite dominating the game in Awka, the host Rangers was unable to break the backline of the away side.
While reacting to the result, the coach confirmed that they were focussing on getting the full points but it was never meant to be
“I am very happy for the boys, myself and the team for the away draw. It is essential to reach our set target for the season. We came to pick all the points at stake but are happy with the one point we got”, he said.
