The head coach of Bayelsa Queens Domo Okara has heaped praises on the organiser of the Nigeria Women Football League Super 6.
The Yenogoa-based club failed to defend their title after losing 2-1 to Delta Queens in the final of the competition.
They made up for it in the final of the federation with a 4-2 penalty shoot-out win over Rivers Angel in the final.
The coach praised the organiser of the Super 6 during a radio chat on Fresh FM Akure 102.9 on Saturday.
“Some of our players left for the greener pastures and our key striker got injured and it affected our performance this season.
The league has improved and I must commend the organiser, it was near perfection.
The organisation, and officiating were superb and the Super 6 was close to the Women’s champions league”, he said.
Bayelsa Queens got N5 million for finishing second in the Super 6.
