The technical adviser of the Nigeria Women Football League side Heartland Queens Obi Ogbala has said the red card they got in the game affected their game plan.
The Owerri-based club held Naija Ratels to a goalless draw on Wednesday in match 5 of the league.
And Ogbala believes the result would have been different if not for the marching order.
“Well, actually, I came here to collect the three points but when we got the red card I have to rejig my team to be able to curtail them to at least get a point.
“Well, with one man down and good enough I have a good bench that is why I was not jittery at all.
“We introduced Chinedu Chinaka to put the defence on alert. We are playing away but then we have to take the ball to them and at the same time try to slow them down so that we can go home with a draw,” he said.
The draw placed Heartland Queens 2nd on the log with 8 points from 5 games. had
