Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti, has reportedly identified Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min as a potential addition to his squad next year.
Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min is “preparing” a move away from the club for the next step in his career, according to recent reports. The South Korean international has impressed over recent years in North London, though he has had a slow start to the current campaign.
Last season was perhaps Son’s best yet, winning the Premier League Golden Boot with 23 goals – the joint-most with Liverpool star winger Mohamed Salah. In stark contrast, the 30-year-old scored just three goals in the early phase of the campaign, all of which came against Leicester in a blistering cameo from the bench.
The likes of Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio are believed to have reached the end of their stints at Real Madrid, while Mariano Diaz has failed to cement a place in Ancelotti’s squad.
Ancelotti has decided to keep tabs on Son as the South Korean international is currently considering his options despite having three years remaining on his contract at Tottenham.
