Newly acquired Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward Cyril Dessers has set his eyes on getting the league title with Glasgow Rangers.
The 28-year-old attacker joined the Gers a few days ago from the Italian side US Cremonese ahead of the 2023/2024 Scottish league season.
Dessers scored goals for Cremonese last season but it wasn’t enough as they suffered relegation at the end of the season.
Looking into the new season with Rangers, Dessers said he has one trophy already but is targeting the title next season.
” I am especially happy with my choice for Rangers. Everything about this club is big. The stadium, the city, the pressure.
A new wind has been blowing here for a few months now and I really want to be part of it.
In recent years I have been able to check off many things on my bucket list.
Well, I’ve already won a cup, but I would also like to win a league title, as they say so nicely here. I hope to achieve that here this season”, he said.
