It was a double blow for the German Bundesliga side Hoffenheim on Saturday as they suffered a home defeat to Koln and also lost one of their key defenders Kevin Akpoguma to injury.
With Ngeria International in the starting lineup, Hoffenheim conceded the first goal in the 13th minute from the penalty spot through Kainz before Selke made it 0-2 just before the half time.
After a strong tackle, Akpoguma sustained an injury in the 67th minute and he was replaced by Skov before Thelmann netted the 3rd goal in the 92nd minute.
Dolberg halved the deficit for the host in the 94th minute as the game ended 1-3.
