Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker Josh Maja is elated following his new found form with his French Ligue 2 club Girondins Bordeaux.
Maja returned to his parent club this summer after spending last season on loan with the English championship side Stoke City.
Despite interest from another English championship club Birmingham, Maja chose to stay with the French club
Since the start of the season, the skilful attacker has netted 6 goals and helped Bordeaux to the top of the table.
” It’s been a long time since I’ve played ten games in a row.
That means something. I feel, of course, that I am in a good period, physically and in my head.
I am stronger, stronger in the game. I like to go deep, but I don’t hesitate to play between the lines. I may have a wider range.
But it’s all thanks to the team and the coach”, he said.
