Super Falcons has qualified for the 2024 Women’s African Cup of Nations slated to be held in Morocco.
The Nigerian side defeated the Blue Shark of Cape Verde 1-2 in the second leg of the qualifier.
Having won the first leg 5-0 at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja last weekend, the Falcons qualified for the tournament 7-2 on aggregate scoreline.
It was the host who netted the opening goal in the 8th minute through Ivana Moreira before Esther Okronkwo equalised in the 62nd minute while Rasheedat Ajibade netted the winning goal in the 92nd minute.
