South Africa’s premier league club Golden Arrows has captured former Sunshine Stars goalkeeper Olufemi Kayode on a 2 year deal.
Kayode, 30, was signed by Sunshine Stars and has previously played for Enyimba, Lobi Stars and Akwa United in his homeland where he’s kept 29 clean sheets in 94 games in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL).
He joins the Durban-based side, having participated in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup before.
He will be the fourth goalkeeper at Arrows, with the club having signed Ismail Watenga from Mamelodi Sundowns on loan, while they still have Sifiso Mlungwana and Nkosi Gumede on their books.
