English Championship side Southampton has placed the Turkish Super Lig side Tranzonspor in a tight corner after they slapped huge cash on Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward Paul Onuachu
The lanky forward joined the Saint during the winter transfer of last season but failed to live up to the billings.
He farmed out on loan to Trabzonspor last summer following the relegation of Southampton to the championship.
His adventure in Turkey has been fruitful so far and he has scored a load of goals for Trabzonspor to take them to 3rd place on the table and also to the final of the Turkish Cup.
The Chief Executive Officer of Trabzonspor Ertugurul Dogan on Wednesday morning confirmed that Southampton has slapped £15 million on the Nigerian International.
Dogan kept mum on whether they will pay the cash or apply for another loan deal.
