After the unsuccessful adventure in England, Nigeria’s Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has moved to the Italian Serie A side Udinese on a 4-year deal.
Okoye joined the English Championship side Watford FC last summer from the Dutch Eredivisie side Sparta Rotterdam after a good adventure in the league.
Despite arriving at the club as a high-profile goalkeeper he was unable to tie down a regular shirt and the only appearance he had was in the cup game
Serie A side Udinese has been in discussions with the Hornets for his services in the past weeks but the deal was finally agreed on Wednesday.
“Welcome Maduka Okoye”, the club said.
Okoye will join his compatriot Isaac Success who is already a household name in the club.
