Following his amazing performance in the just concluded FIFA U20 World Cup in Argentina, Asian giant Al Ain club has captured Nigeria’s Flying Eagle forward Haliru Sarki.
The Nigerian side started the game on a winning note before crashing out in the quarter-final of the tournament losing to the Korean Republic.
Sarki was one of Nigeria’s top performers in the biennial competition, scoring vital goals that propelled the team.
His club Mahanaim FC confirmed his departure on Sunday afternoon.
” We have reached an agreement with a top Asian club side, Al Ain Club for the transfer of our player and Nigeria U20 forward, Haliru Sarki.
The deal is a long-term project, we are wishing Sarki and his new club success in the coming season”, the statement read.
