The Chief Executive Officer Phillippe Bormans of the Jupiler League side Union Saint Gillaloise has demanded more cash for the Nigeria International Victor Boniface.
Boniface’s future at Union Saint-Gilloise is uncertain, given his impressive performances this season.
He currently has 15 goals and 8 assists in all competitions.
The Nigerian player is already attracting plenty of attention, fueling speculation that he could leave this summer. However, the Belgian club’s asking price could be a big hurdle.
“15 million euros for Boniface? I don’t think that’s enough. Boniface has an exceptional profile. All the major championships follow him closely.
For the moment, a transfer is not on the agenda, it is still an integral part of our plans. This summer we will see what offers will be put on the table,” he said.
