The English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers has offered a huge money to the Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce for the service of the Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi Samuel.
They watched the 26-year-old in the UEFA Conference League against Olympiacos and despite Fenerbahce going out, the fullback put in a good performance.
According to the update from Turkey, Gary O’Neil’s side has placed €12m on the table and that offer included bonuses which are thought to be easy to achieve. Whilst it hasn’t been outright rejected, Fenerbahce wants a little more.
As it stands, ‘negotiations continue’ and the Turkish side is keen to reach an agreement because they’re scared of losing Osayi-Samuel for nothing.
His contract expires in June 2025, and therefore that puts them under some pressure.
