Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets attacker Charles Agada has expressed his excitement over his first goal for the National team.
Agada made his debut in the ongoing U17 African Cup of Nations in Algeria in the final group game against the Amajimbos of South Africa.
It was Agada that netted the equAliser for Nigeria after South Africa took the lead earlier in the game.
The Nigerian side arrived in Algiers the capital of Algeria venue of the quarter-final on Monday and they’ve settled down for the game slated for Saturday.
Agada was happy about the goal and he quickly focused on their next assignment.
” I am happy to score my first goal for Nigeria, says Charles Agada.
“I thank the coaches and my teammates for what happened against South Africa.”
“I pray that we will continue to make Nigerians happy with our performance in the tournament,” he said.
Nigeria will face Burkina Faso in the quarter-final and the winner will qualify for the World Cup and also the semi-final of AFCON.
