The camp of France’s U17 team is already in disarray after the reports that they could be disqualified from the ongoing FIFA U17 World Cup in Indonesia.
The 2001 champion had earlier in the day defeated African champions Senegal in the quarter-final of the competition.
The disqualification of the European country is very much possible following the usage of a player Yanis Issoufou in the ongoing tournament.
Issoufou has dual nationality of France and Niger and is qualified to represent both countries in international football.
It was alleged that Issoufou played for Niger during the African qualifier which made him unqualified to play for France again.
The rule of FIFA made it clear that you can’t play for two national teams in the same competition.
The Senegalese camp is waiting to get a favourable judgement from the football body.
