It will be a replay of the opening group B match, as Nigeria’s Flamingoes will face Germany in the third-place playoff of the Women’s world cup.
Earlier on Wednesday, Colombia edged out Flamingoes 6-5 on penalties in a keenly contested first semi-final match played in Goa.
In the second semi-final, Spain proved too much for their European rival as they scored a late goal to beat the Germans and reach the final.
It was Germany that emerged victorious in the opening group match 2-1 despite Flamingoes scoring the opening goal.
The game fixed for the weekend is expected to be explosive as both teams will be eager not to go home empty-handed.
