Nigeria’s Olympic Eagles reached the next round of the qualifier on Saturday with a 3-1 aggregate win over Junior Taifa Stars of Tanzania.

Former Sunshine Star winger Oguniyi Omojesu netted the opening goal through a sublime free-kick and gave Nigeria a deserved lead.
Success Makanjuola put the game beyond the away side as he doubled Nigeria’s lead from the penalty spot halfway into the second half.
Tanzania piled pressure on the Nigeria side towards the tail end of the game but the Nigeria backline did enough to hand Nigeria’s Olympic Eagles a place in the next round of the qualifier.
