Manchester United is set to offer Alejandro Garnacho a new contract worth £50,000 a week after his recent performances for the club, according to the Daily Star.
They also want to add another three years to a deal for the 18-year-old winger that already runs until 2024.
Garnacho currently earns about £5,000 including bonuses — yet that is set to soar after the most sensational start to life as a first-team player.
Garnacho signed for the Old Trafford side in the summer of 2020 from Atletico Madrid. Since then, The Argentine made his debut for United last season in April. Against Chelsea in the Premier League, the 18-year-old came on as a substitute in the final minutes of the fixture.
His stunning breakthrough season has not gone unnoticed by both Madrid and Barcelona in Spain.
And Erik Ten Hag is determined to end any hopes they have of tempting him back to the land of his birth with the hugely improved contract.
