Newly appointed Wigan Athletic coach Kolo Toure has said is proud to be named as the new coach of the English Championship club.
The former Ivorian international was named as the gaffer of the Latics after the departure of the former boss Leam.
He was officially unveiled on Wednesday ahead of his first official game this weekend against Millwall.
” Wigan is a good club, and when the opportunity came, I was very, very excited.
“This is a great opportunity for me at this point in my career, for my staff as well, and we are looking forward to it.
“It’s a great challenge for me, a great challenge. For me, it’s perfect.
“The last manager, Leam, did a great, great job in bringing the team up into the Championship.
I and my staff will be trying now to push on to the next level.
“This is an unbelievable challenge in front of us, and we’re looking forward to it”, he said.
