The international window is over as players of different countries are expected to go back to their respective clubs ahead of the league presumption this weekend, on the African continent, the international window came with Matchday three and Match Day four of the 2023 AFCON scheduled to take place in Ivory Coast next year.
With two games to the end of the qualifying race, seven countries have secured their places at the tournament after picking up valuable points during the recent qualifier, 17 more spots are still available and will be fought for during the next international window.
At Brace Radio, we look at the seven countries that have their places booked already
1️⃣ Morocco 🇲🇦- The Atlas Lions have secured their place, they are set for their 19th AFCON appearance in CoteDvoire in 2024
2️⃣ Algeria 🇩🇿- The 1990 AFCON champions will make her 20th appearance
3️⃣ Senegal 🇸🇳 – The reigning Champions have also booked their place and are set for their 17th appearance at the AFCON
4️⃣ South Africa 🇿🇦 – The Bafana Bafana secured their place after missing out at the last tournament and they are set for their 11th appearance
5️⃣Burkina Faso – The Stallions joined other teams to have qualified and they are set for their 13th appearance at AFCON in Cote D voice next year
6️⃣ Ivory Coast – The Elephant automatically qualifies as the host nation
7️⃣ Tunisia – The Carthage Eagles completes the list of the North African countries to have completed their qualification task with two games to spare in the qualifying race. Tunisia will be at the next AFCON for the 21st time
