Ahead of the crucial 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Super Eagle, the Djurtus of Guinea Bissau have landed in Nigeria.
They departed Bissau on Tuesday after observing their morning training and they are expected to arrive in Nigeria late on Wednesday evening.
The team head coach Baciro Cande has invited 25 players largely home-based for the crucial doubleheader game against the 3-time African champions.
The draw between Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe who are the others in the group gave Guinea Bissau a glimmer of hope going into their game on Friday.
Super Eagle will host the first leg on Friday at the MKO Abiola stadium in Abuja and Guinea Bissau will host the second leg next week.
