The former coach of Nigeria’s Super Falcons Edwin Okon has reiterated his confidence in the team to perform well at the Olympics.
The Nigerian side is placed in a tough group that consists of Brazil, Japan, and the World Champion Spain.
Okon underlined that Super Falcons want to make a name for themselves and they will put in everything to achieve a good result.
” I trust the players because they know what is at stake.
“Names do not play football and so it will be 11 against 11 when the Super Falcons face these teams.
“There should be no fear because they also want to make a name for themselves at this level of the game”, he said.
Falcons will face Brazil in the opening group match before playing Japan and Spain later in the games.
