French Ligue One side Montpellier has announced the signing of the Nigerian youngster Akor Adams.
The skilful attacker joined the French side the Norwegian club Lillestrom for an undisclosed fee, the Ligue side revealed.
Adams was recruited by Montpellier to compensate for the transfer of Stephy Mavididi to the English championship Leicester City
“I have a very good feeling when I arrive here.
I think I’m coming to the right place, at the right time to take a step forward,” he told club’s website.
The 23-year-old centre-forward has been particularly effective in his second season at Lillestrom, where he has scored 15 goals in as many Norwegian Premiership games.
