Barely 3 weeks to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, the crises rocking Nigeria’s Super Falcons continue as one of the players omitted from the team Ngozi Okobi came out to clear her name.
The omission of Okobi from the team has generated a huge controversy and certain sections of the media came out with some publications on Thursday.
It was reported on Thursday that Okobi condemned the team manager Randy Waldrum but she has come out to deny the reports and further threatened legal action.
” I have not and will not make any public statements on the Women’s World Cup squad team, until a final decision, which is irreversible, has been taken.
In the light of the above, I advise whoever peddling such falsehood to desist or be ready to face legal actions”, she said.
