The head coach of the Egypt U20 Mahmoud Gaber has insisted that their focus is to win against Nigeria.
Egypt who also doubled as the host country failed to win their opening game against Mozambique on Sunday and required a win against Nigeria on Wednesday if they want to reach the last 8.
During a press conference organised on Tuesday ahead of the game, Gaber maintained that the players have assured him victory in the game.
“We are focusing now on the Nigeria clash and will do better than against Mozambique.
‘’Our target is to win tomorrow and we will do our best to achieve the target.”
“Players promised me to win against Nigeria and I am fully confident in my players”, he said.
