Tyson Fury is again serving the juiciest jabs, but this time in the ring. He is admitting that he wants to buy League One side, Morecambe.
Fury, who holds the WBC belt in the heavyweight boxing division, disclosed that he had been given a chance to buy Morecambe.
World heavyweight champion Tyson Fury says he has been offered the chance to buy Sky Bet League One club Morecambe. Fury, set for a trilogy fight with old rival Derek Chisora at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on December 3, already has close ties with the Shrimps.
Despite his statement of intent, the undefeated British fighter is a Manchester United fan, having watched them play at Old Trafford. He was born in Manchester before moving to Lancashire to settle in the seaside town.
Morecambe currently sits at the bottom of League One, having only been promoted in 2021.
