Barely 2 weeks to the start of this year’s Women’s CAF Champions League, the football body has announced the fixtures schedule for the tournament.
Nigeria’s champions Bayelsa Queens are among the teams that will participate in the second edition of the competition.
Rivers Angels represented the country in the maiden edition of the tournament in 2021 but failed to make it beyond the group stage.
The fixtures released by CAF indicated that the opening match will come up on the 30th of October and it will be between AS FAR FC and Simba Queens.
Bayelsa Queens in group B will confront defending champions Mamelodi Sundown Ladies of South Africa on the 31st of October at Grand Stade De Marrakech.
The final group matches will come up on the 6th of November, Semi Final will take on the 9th of the same month.
The loser’s final is to take place on the 12th while final is fixed for the 13th of November, 2022.
